The vineyards of Villa Angoris date back over 350 years to the time when Friuli was a part of the Austrian Empire. The Locatelli family have owned and managed the estate since the 1960's. The Friulano (also known as Tocai Friulano) grapes for this wine come from a 3 hectare vineyard in the heart of the Isonzo zone. The grapes are fermented and aged for three months entirely in stainless steel. Aromas of almonds lead into a palate of lush ripe peach, backed by minerals and refreshing acidity.
