Founded in 1974, Empresa Ejidal is comprised of 36 agave-producing farmers belonging who had previously sold their crops to other distilleries. The partners are aficionados of the land, hand selecting only the best agave plants from their fields to produce a line of distinctive high quality tequilas. Their agave is fermented using only wild yeasts and the tequila is then double distilled in a traditional pot still.
Aromas of fresh mint, lime and sage lead into a palate of subtle herbal flavors with notes of spearmint, honey, cinammon, edamame and a long, smooth finish.
